Hi,
We have Windows 10 1709 and we are trying to evaluate Touch-It Virtual Keyboard's suitability for our 200 device fleet of panasonic toughpads.
However, we have a reproducible issue when this software that makes Internet Explorer unusable when attempting to enter an address that is not the default home page or when using it in the search field. The computer CPU goes to 100%, but not necessarily for IE.
Opening an IE shortcut for our home page from the desktop will open but takes along time to do it with the CPU heavily utilised to get there. The home page doesn't have Enhanced Protected Mode applied.
Opening an IE short cut to something other than our home page (eg google) causes IE to open after a very long time. But then it is a non-responsive browser that doesn't render the web page - basically useless. Everything other then our home page does have Enhanced Protected Mode applied.
Is there a known issue with Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 1709. Is there any fixes to resolve this issue? If not, we will need to explore alternative software. Thanks

We do not encounter any issue with Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 1709 but with Edge.
We are investigating.

Re: Internet Explorer unusable Windows 10 1709
There was a regression in Windows 1709 regarding the hook management (global memory issue).
Newer Windows versions are not concerned.
So we have added an option to turn off hooking. Download v5.18
Please let us know.

Looking good so far. Is there a parameter we can use to set that option and others as part of a scripted install? Need to package this up. Thanks

That's good to hear!
Settings are stored in the registry :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Chessware\Touch-It\Setup
HookON = 0

Hi,
This is working well. Can we move this revision to stable? Thanks.

Also, which registry key controls the option to "Disable with external keyboard"? Thanks
